The following information provides a simple overview of what happens to your personal data when you visit this website. Personal data is any data with which you can be personally identified. Detailed information on data protection can be found in our privacy policy listed below this text.

Who is responsible for data collection on this website?

The data processing on this website is carried out by the website operator. Their contact details can be found in the section "Notice about the responsible party" in this privacy policy.

How do we collect your data?

Your data is collected, firstly, by you providing it to us. This could be, for example, data you enter in a contact form.

Other data is collected automatically or after your consent when you visit the website by our IT systems. This is mainly technical data (e.g., internet browser, operating system, or time of the page visit). This data is collected automatically as soon as you enter this website.

What do we use your data for?

Part of the data is collected to ensure the error-free provision of the website. Other data may be used to analyze your user behavior.

What rights do you have regarding your data?

You have the right at any time to receive information free of charge about the origin, recipient, and purpose of your stored personal data. You also have the right to request the correction or deletion of this data. If you have given your consent to data processing, you can revoke this consent at any time for the future. You also have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data under certain circumstances. Furthermore, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority.

You can contact us at any time regarding this and other questions on the subject of data protection.

2. Hosting

We host the content of our website with the following provider:

Amazon Web Services (AWS)

The provider is Amazon Web Services EMEA SARL, 38 Avenue John F. Kennedy, L-1855 Luxembourg (hereinafter AWS). When you visit our website, AWS collects various log files including your IP addresses.

We use AWS to host and deliver this website as a static site: the files are stored in Amazon S3 in the Frankfurt region (eu-central-1) and delivered through the Amazon CloudFront content delivery network. CloudFront serves the site from edge locations in Europe and North America, so that requests are answered from a server near you. AWS stores cookies or other recognition technologies only where they are required for the delivery of the site and ensuring security (necessary cookies).

Details can be found in the AWS privacy notice: https://aws.amazon.com/privacy/.

The use of AWS is based on Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR. We have a legitimate interest in the most reliable possible display of our website. If a corresponding consent has been requested, the processing takes place exclusively on the basis of Art. 6 (1) lit. a GDPR and § 25 (1) TDDG, as far as the consent includes the storage of cookies or the access to information in the user's end device (e.g., device fingerprinting) within the meaning of the TDDG. The consent can be revoked at any time.

We have concluded a data processing agreement (AWS GDPR Data Processing Addendum) with the provider. Where content is delivered from edge locations outside the European Economic Area, the data transfer is based on the standard contractual clauses adopted by the EU Commission, which are incorporated into the AWS Service Terms and apply automatically to such transfers. Details can be found here: https://aws.amazon.com/compliance/gdpr-center/.

SSL or TLS Encryption

This site uses SSL or TLS encryption for security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, such as orders or inquiries you send to us as the site operator. 4. Data Collection on This Website

Cookies

Our websites use so-called "cookies". Cookies are small data packets and do not cause any damage to your end device. They are either temporarily stored for the duration of a session (session cookies) or permanently (permanent cookies) on your end device. Session cookies are automatically deleted at the end of your visit. Permanent cookies remain on your end device until you delete them yourself or until your web browser automatically deletes them.

Cookies can come from us (first-party cookies) or from third-party companies (so-called third-party cookies). Third-party cookies enable the integration of certain services from third-party companies within websites (e.g., cookies set by an embedded scheduling tool).

Cookies have various functions. Many cookies are technically necessary because certain website functions would not work without them (e.g., storing your cookie choice). Other cookies may be used to evaluate user behavior or for advertising purposes.

Cookies that are required to carry out the electronic communication process, to provide certain functions you desire, or to optimize the website (e.g., cookies to measure the web audience) are stored on the basis of Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR, unless another legal basis is stated. The website operator has a legitimate interest in storing necessary cookies for the technically error-free and optimized provision of its services. If consent to the storage of cookies and comparable recognition technologies has been requested, processing is carried out exclusively on the basis of this consent (Art. 6 (1) lit. a GDPR and § 25 (1) TDDG); consent can be revoked at any time.

You can set your browser so that you are informed about the setting of cookies and only allow cookies in individual cases, exclude the acceptance of cookies for certain cases or in general, and activate the automatic deletion of cookies when closing the browser. When cookies are deactivated, the functionality of this website may be limited.

A full list of the cookies this website sets – with provider, purpose and duration – can be found in our Cookie Policy.

Consent Management with CookieYes

This website uses the consent management platform CookieYes to obtain and record your consent to the storage of cookies and comparable technologies. The provider is CookieYes Limited, 3 Warple Mews, Ealing, London, W3 0RF, United Kingdom.

When you enter our website, CookieYes stores your decision, the time it was made, an anonymous identifier and the version of the policy shown to you, so that we can demonstrate the consent that was given. This record does not contain your name, email address or IP address. You can withdraw or change your decision at any time via the "Cookie settings" link in the footer of every page.

CookieYes is used to obtain the legally required consent for the use of cookies. The legal basis for this is Art. 6 (1) lit. c GDPR.

Details of the individual cookies, their providers and their storage periods can be found in our Cookie Policy.

Google Tag Manager

We use Google Tag Manager, a service of Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Google Tag Manager is a tool that allows us to manage which tracking or analysis tools are loaded on this website. It does not itself create user profiles, set cookies or collect personal data; it only controls which other tools are loaded, and does so subject to your consent.

Google Tag Manager is integrated with Google Consent Mode. Before you make a decision, all storage purposes are set to "denied" by default, so that tools managed through it cannot store or read information on your device. Your choice is then passed on to Google Tag Manager.

The use of Google Tag Manager is based on Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR. We have a legitimate interest in managing the tools used on this website in a controlled way. Where consent has been requested, processing takes place exclusively on the basis of Art. 6 (1) lit. a GDPR and § 25 (1) TDDG; consent can be revoked at any time. Data may be transferred to the USA; the transfer is based on the standard contractual clauses of the EU Commission.

Google Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service of Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Google Analytics is loaded through Google Tag Manager and is only activated once you have consented to analysis cookies.

Google Analytics enables us to analyse how visitors use this website: which pages are viewed, how long a visit lasts, where visitors came from and which content leads to a demo booking. For this purpose it sets cookies that allow your browser to be recognised across pages and on return visits. IP addresses are shortened before any further processing, so that a direct link to a person is not established by us.

The use of Google Analytics is based exclusively on your consent under Art. 6 (1) lit. a GDPR and § 25 (1) TDDG. You can withdraw that consent at any time, with effect for the future, via the "Cookie settings" link in the footer of every page. Until you consent, Google Consent Mode keeps all storage purposes set to "denied", so no analytics cookies are set and no analytics data is transmitted.

Data may be transferred to the USA. The transfer is based on the standard contractual clauses of the EU Commission. We have concluded a data processing agreement with Google (Google Ads Data Processing Terms). Further information on how Google handles user data can be found in Google's privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy. The individual cookies and their storage periods are listed in our Cookie Policy.

HubSpot

We use HubSpot, a service of HubSpot, Inc., 2 Canal Park, Cambridge, MA 02141, USA, as our customer relationship management system, and for the analysis of how this website is used. In the European Economic Area the service is provided by HubSpot Ireland Limited, Ground Floor, Two Dockland Central, Guild Street, Dublin 1, Ireland.

If you consent to analysis cookies, HubSpot sets cookies that record how you reached and moved through this website. One of these cookies recognises returning visitors and links a later form submission or demo booking to your contact record, so that we can see which content led to an enquiry. This goes beyond mere reach measurement, which is why these cookies are only set after your explicit consent. If you decline, the HubSpot tracking script is not loaded and no analytics data is transmitted to HubSpot.

Independently of this, our demo booking is embedded on this website via HubSpot Meetings. The scheduler loads when you open the booking window, whether or not you have accepted analytics cookies, because arranging a meeting is the service you asked for and could not be provided otherwise. If you open it and arrange an appointment, HubSpot processes the details you enter in order to schedule it, and may set its own cookies on its own domain for that purpose. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) lit. b GDPR, as the processing serves to carry out pre-contractual measures at your request, not consent. If you never open the booking window, none of this is loaded.

Data may be transferred to the USA. The transfer is based on the standard contractual clauses of the EU Commission. We have concluded a data processing agreement with the provider. Further information can be found in HubSpot's privacy policy: https://legal.hubspot.com/privacy-policy.

Contact Form

If you send us inquiries via the contact form, your details from the inquiry form, including the contact data you provide there, will be stored by us for the purpose of processing the inquiry and in case of follow-up questions. We do not pass on this data without your consent.

The processing of these data is based on Art. 6 (1) lit. b GDPR, if your request is related to the fulfillment of a contract or is necessary for the implementation of pre-contractual measures. In all other cases, the processing is based on our legitimate interest in the effective processing of the inquiries addressed to us (Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR) or on your consent (Art. 6 (1) lit. a GDPR) if this has been requested; the consent can be revoked at any time.

The data you enter in the contact form will remain with us until you request us to delete it, revoke your consent to storage, or the purpose for data storage no longer applies (e.g., after your request has been processed). Mandatory statutory provisions – in particular retention periods – remain unaffected.
