Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device. They allow your browser to be recognised, remember choices you have made, and show how the site is used. Comparable technologies such as localStorage work in a similar way and are covered by this policy as well.
We keep this simple and distinguish two categories:
Strictly necessary. These cookies are required to operate the website and to store your cookie decision. They are set without your consent because the site cannot function without them. No tracking takes place through them.
Analytics. These help us understand how visitors find and use our site — which pages are read, where people get stuck, and which content leads to a demo booking. They are set only if you click Accept. If you decline, none of them are loaded and no data is transmitted.
We do not use advertising, retargeting or profiling cookies. Our analytics cookies come from Google Analytics and from HubSpot, the CRM system we work with. One of them — hubspotutk — recognises returning visitors and links a later form submission or booking to your contact record. That goes beyond plain reach measurement, which is why these cookies are only set after your explicit consent.
These tools are managed through Google Tag Manager, which is also how Google Analytics is loaded. Tag Manager itself sets no cookies and collects no personal data; it only controls which tools are loaded, and it is bound by your consent choice.
If we introduce further tools — Microsoft Clarity, for example — we will update this policy, increase its version number and ask for your consent again.
Our demo scheduler is provided by HubSpot and embedded directly in the page. It loads when you open the booking window, whether or not you have accepted analytics cookies. This is deliberate: booking a meeting is the service you asked for, and without the scheduler you could not arrange one. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) lit. b GDPR — steps taken at your request before entering into a contract — and not consent.
While the scheduler is open, HubSpot may set its own cookies on its domain to operate the booking interface, and processes the details you enter in order to arrange the appointment. Those are separate from the analytics cookies described above, sit outside our own domain, and are not used to follow you around our website. If you never open the booking window, nothing of this is loaded.
On your first visit you are asked whether you want to accept or decline. Both options carry equal weight, and declining costs you nothing on this site.
Your decision is stored so that you are not asked again on every page. You can change it at any time via the link in the footer of every page. If you switch from accepting to declining, we stop using the analytics tools and the cookies they set are deleted.
We ask again at least once a year, and sooner if we introduce a new tool.
You can also block or delete cookies through your browser settings. That may affect how parts of the site work.
When you make a decision, we store a record of it so that the consent given can be demonstrated. That entry contains a randomly generated identifier, the date and time, the version of this policy shown to you, your decision, and the website it applies to. It contains neither your name nor your email address nor your IP address.

This list reflects the position as at the date above. If tools are added we will extend the table, increase the version number and ask for your consent again.
The analytics tools we use are operated by Google (Google Ireland Limited, Dublin) and HubSpot (HubSpot, Inc., USA); the same applies to Google Tag Manager. When they are active, certain data — including your IP address and information about your device and how you use the site — is processed by these providers and may be transferred outside the EU or EEA. Both companies provide safeguards for this, in particular the standard contractual clauses adopted by the EU Commission; details are set out in their own privacy notices. If you decline, no analytics data is transmitted to these providers.
The demo scheduler described above is also operated by HubSpot, and is loaded independently of your consent choice for the reasons given in that section.
You have the right to request information about the data stored about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to have its processing restricted or to object to it, to receive the data in a portable format, and to withdraw your consent at any time. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out up to that point. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your competent data protection supervisory authority.
